Winter Reading Challenge begins 1/3!

The Adult Winter Reading Challenge is underway at the library! The challenge begins January 3 and runs until March 6. There will be no finale party this year.

When you come into the library to sign up, you will receive a Read the Library game card with various tasks, such as Read a Book from the New Section, Read a Book from the Adult Non-Fiction Section, and Watch a Movie from the Video Collection. Once you have completed the task, write the name of the book/film/album and the creator under the task on the card. When you check in at the reference desk, you will receive one raffle ticket for each task completed. You may check in after each task or wait until several or all the tasks have been completed.

Tasks can be completed in any order. The books read/films watched/music listened to must be read/watched/listened to between the start and end dates of the challenge and each task must be fulfilled by a different book/item. The challenge is open to anyone 18 years of age or older.

Grand Prize Raffle

If you complete all the tasks on the card, you will get a Grand Prize raffle ticket.

All game cards must be checked in, and raffle tickets submitted by, 5:30pm on Friday, March 6, 2020. If you have any questions, please call the library or stop by the reference desk.
