The Great American Read, a countdown through 100 great books to find America’s favorite novel, airs this fall on PBS. The library’s tie-in, The Great East Greenbush Read, kicks off on September 6th during the library’s election and budget vote. Vote on the budget and for your favorite among 12 books from the PBS list. The winning book will be celebrated during a community-wide book discussion and finale party on October 29. (Registration begins September 25)
