Who may participate?

1000 Books Before Kindergarten – Any child not yet in kindergarten
500 Books Before Middle School – Any student in grades K-5
100 Books Before Graduation – Any student in grades 6-12

What books count?

Print books, graphic novels, eBooks, audiobooks—any genre you like! Record each time you read a book, even if it has been read before. Rereading favorite books from home or the library is allowed!

How do we keep track?

Use Beanstack to keep track on a computer or mobile device! If you are not interested in tracking online, ask a librarian in the children’s room for a paper reading log to get started.
