Our Commitment to Accessibility

The East Greenbush Community Library is committed to providing a website
that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of
ability. We strive to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines
(WCAG) 2.2 Level AA standards.

Accessibility Features

• Clear heading structure and logical page organization • Sufficient
color contrast for text and interface elements • Keyboard navigation
support • Descriptive alternative text for meaningful images •
Descriptive link text • Clearly labeled forms with instructions and
error messages • No flashing content • Accessible document formats when
available

Conformance Status

We are actively working toward WCAG 2.2 AA conformance. Some content may
not yet fully conform.

services • Legacy pages requiring structural updates
