The Board of Trustees of the East Greenbush Community Library is seeking two new library trustees to complete its Board in 2025. As a trustee you will gain insight into our library’s relationship to the community, gain leadership experience, collaborate on local and statewide levels, and make a positive difference in your community!
The Board consists of seven trustees who work together to:
- Support the library’s strategic plan through the library director.
- Advance the mission of our library.
- Exercise fiduciary responsibility for the use of library funds.
- Adopt policies and rules regarding the operation of the library.
- Promote library growth and relevance in our community.
- Conduct library business in an open and ethical manner.
A trustee must be a qualified voter and resident of the town of East Greenbush. Trustees will be elected on September 17, 2024. The election will be held in the library, polls are open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Election Information.
Trustee meetings are held on the first Monday and third Tuesday of each month. Meeting Calendar.
