Unearth a Story 2026 Summer Reading Challenge (for all ages) June 29 - August 14

Help us reach our community reading goal!

In celebration of America’s 250th, the East Greenbush Community Library is taking on a challenge to read 12500 Books! Everyone can help us reach our goal this summer. Whether you read 1 book or 100, you’re part of our story!

How to Participate:

The 12000 Book Challenge will run from Monday, June 15th to Friday, September 4th. If you are logging books in Beanstack toward any reading challenge (or even just for fun!) during this time, they will automatically be added to our total.

If you are not participating in a reading challenge or are doing a paper version, you can add your books to our total using our reading log bookmarks. See below for more information.
