The East Greenbush Community Library offers books for children of all ages, digital materials, reading challenges, free year-round events, a play space for young children, and more!

The library has something for every reader! Stop by to browse our large collection of children’s books, audiobooks, DVDs, video games, parenting books, and more! We also have specialty items available for checkout such as Yoto players and cards, Nature Backpacks, STEM Kits, and Stories-to-Go Kits.

Don’t have time to come in and browse? Fill out our Book Bundle form and let our Youth Services Librarians select books for your kids. If you’re looking for something in particular, search our online catalog or ask a librarian in the Children’s Room.

Reading Challenges

We have reading challenges for every level of reader! All of our challenges can be done either on paper or using Beanstack, an online program and app for readers to log books, activities, and more.
