Tax Assistance Program
Taxpayer Assistance Program (TAP) is a free service provided by the NYS Department of Taxation and Finance that helps eligible individuals prepare and electronically file their federal and state income tax returns.
During tax season representatives from NYS Tax department will be at the library to provide in-person, step-by-step guidance to participants on filing their own tax returns.
Who is Eligible?
If your 2025 federal adjusted gross income (FAGI) was $89,000 or less and you have investment income of $11,950 or less you are eligible for assistance.
