Teen Room

The Teen Room is an inclusive, teens-only safe space designed specifically for patrons in grades 6-12. Teens are welcome to use the space anytime the library is open to play games, study, enjoy comfortable seating, and spend time with friends! While seating in the Teen Room is reserved for middle and high school students during after school hours, everyone is welcome to use the collection!

The Teen Room is supervised by library staff on weekdays after school from approximately 2-5pm. Buses are available to the library from Goff Middle School and Columbia High School. Please contact the schools directly for more information.

Volunteer Opportunities

Are you looking to earn community service hours for a class, club, or college application? The library provides volunteer opportunities for teens during the school year and as part of our Summer Reading program. See our VolunTeens page for more information about volunteering at the library!
