This summer we are challenging our entire community of readers—kids, teens, and adults—to read 10,000 books!

There will be age-specific reading challenges and prizes for Adults, Tweens & Teens, and Children, but we are all working toward the same 10,000 book goal!

Adults: Sign up at the Reference Desk starting Wednesday, June 26th at 9am, at the Farmers’ Market between 4-7pm, or at the Children’s Launch Party on June 27th.

Tweens & Teens: Register for the Tween & Teen Summer Reading Launch Party on Friday, June 28th from 5:30-9:00pm. Receive your first mission there or at the Children’s Desk starting on June 26th.

Children: Kick off the summer at our Summer Reading Challenge Launch Party on Thursday, June 27th! Kids of all ages can read books to earn prizes and join in the hunt to find our Children’s Room mascot, Sully.

Hey kids! Can you find Sully this summer?

Join us in the 13th annual hunt for our Children's Room mascot, Sully, as he travels around town to local businesses. Starting on Thursday, June 27th Sully will move to a different area location each week. Read the clues, figure out where Sully is hiding, and then go visit him to receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win a prize!
