2026 Library Budget Vote & Trustee Election Results

The final results for the Library’s 2026 Budget Vote & Trustee Election, held in the library on Monday, November 17, 2026, were certified on November 24, 2025, by a representative from the League of Women Voters and notorized and filed by the Town Clerk.

Budget vote results:

• 340 votes in favor
• 223 votes opposed

The 2026 Library Budget in the amount of $2,878,395 has passed.

A second proposition on the ballot was the election of Trustees to fill three open positions on the Library Board of Trustees. The top two candidates with highest votes will serve 5-year terms, and candidate with the 3rd highest votes will serve a 2-year term. All terms will begin on January 1, 2026.
